About the role
- System Technician/Programmer responsible for innovative building automation solutions. Collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver efficient HVAC control systems.
Responsibilities
- Planning and engineering of building automation stations based on functional descriptions or system schematics
- Development of modern application software for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Programming and parameterization of DDC systems and management stations
- Performing commissioning, datapoint and functional tests on-site at customer locations
- Maintenance and optimization of systems during operation
- Close collaboration with customers, specialist planners and internal departments to align technical requirements
- Documenting your solutions — from functional descriptions to user-friendly interfaces
Requirements
- Certified technician (state-approved) or Bachelor's degree (m/f/d) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Career changers welcome with completed vocational training and initial professional experience in automation technology or building automation
- Understanding of communication protocols for building automation (e.g. BACnet, KNX, Modbus)
- Experience with programming tools is advantageous
- Structured, independent working style and enthusiasm for technical challenges
