About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall performance and health of your client portfolio.
  • Be responsible for client retention, upsells, cross-sells, and expansion opportunities.
  • Identify risks early and take proactive action to prevent churn.
  • Partner with Sales and Leadership on renewals, scope changes, and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure portfolio growth is sustainable and does not compromise delivery quality or margins.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for all client communications.
  • Lead monthly reviews, strategic calls, quarterly planning sessions, and performance deep dives.
  • Confidently manage difficult conversations, expectations, feedback, and escalations.
  • Translate business objectives into clear strategies and execution plans.
  • Lead and manage your full squad (SEO, PPC, Content, CRO, BI).
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, KPI tracking, and development planning.
  • Ensure team members understand priorities, standards, and expectations.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training, certifications, and coaching plans.
  • Own cost efficiency for your portfolio, including team capacity and allocation.
  • Ensure delivery is profitable, scalable, and aligned with agreed scopes.
  • Own all timelines, milestones, and quality standards for your portfolio.
  • Maintain a strategic understanding of performance across SEO, Paid Media, CRO, and conversion funnels.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a senior Account Manager, Client Partner, or Client Services Lead role (agency experience required).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, Paid Media (Google, Meta), CRO, and funnel strategy.
  • Proven experience managing client portfolios with revenue responsibility.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience (1:1s, performance reviews, development plans).
  • Experience with project management tools (ClickUp preferred; Asana, Monday, Trello acceptable).
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in upselling, cross-selling, and value positioning.
  • Advanced English (mandatory) — daily communication with international clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, resilient, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Comfortable multitasking and making decisions in a fast-moving environment.
