About the role

• HR Recruiter position responsible for interviewing and referring candidates while ensuring compliance with employment laws. Coordinates job postings and assists in HR budget preparation.

Responsibilities

• The recruiter position interviews, tests and refers applicants for both exempt and non-exempt positions from both internal and external sources.
• Creates and coordinates internal and external job postings.
• May confer with managers to identify screening guidelines for resumes and candidates to ensure that potential candidates meet functional needs and requirements of the available position.
• The person in this position is required to stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
• Additional duties include assisting with preparation of certain aspects of the budget for the Human Resources department ensuring services are delivered in a cost-effective manner.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of human resources corporate recruiting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Basic understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
• Skills in database management and record keeping
• Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
• Organized, flexible and multitask oriented
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Preferred Requirements: HRIS experience (ADP) Financial industry experience
