About the role

  • Technical reference in penalties process for CCEE. Leading initiatives and critical case evaluations in the electric sector.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical point of reference for the penalties process, ensuring correct application of notification, defense, collection and deliberation procedures, and mentoring junior and mid-level analysts in case management.
  • Handle complex and sensitive penalty cases, assessing regulatory and institutional risks as well as relevant precedents.
  • Prepare and critically review technical reports, proposed deliberations and presentations to the Board of Directors (CAd), ensuring technical consistency, executive clarity and institutional alignment.
  • Liaise with partner areas to address critical topics and systemic impacts arising from penalties processes.
  • Evaluate agents’ challenges with a critical and systemic perspective, proposing technical interpretations and next steps.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for processes and systems, focusing on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, risk reduction and improved agent experience.
  • Structure, analyze and interpret penalties indicators and data, converting information into inputs for decision-making and strategic guidance for the area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
  • Specialization or postgraduate degree considered a plus.
  • Experience in regulated environments and/or knowledge of the energy market and the institutional role of CCEE.
  • Advanced data analysis skills, with proficiency in programming languages and BI tools for building and interpreting indicators; Power BI and SQL are desirable.
  • Proactive profile for process and systems improvement, with a critical view on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and institutional impact.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple management teams.
  • Solid analytical background and ability to interpret regulations and normative texts, with experience preparing and reviewing documents and executive-level presentations.
