About the role
- Junior Accounting Analyst at LCR Contadores responsible for financial document handling and reports. Ensuring accuracy in accounting entries and financial statements for client documents.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify documents submitted by clients related to accounting and financial transactions;
- Classify documents according to the Chart of Accounts and record accounting entries, as well as prepare information for periodic result determination (trial balances, profit and loss statements, various reports, and others);
- Analyze any discrepancies and make necessary corrections;
- Perform period-end accounting close to produce reports and calculate due taxes;
- Reconcile payments and receipts with bank statements, provisions for personnel expenses and payroll, correction amounts and depreciation of fixed assets; follow up on settlements of advances, etc., to issue the respective reports, declarations, payment requests and general statements;
- Correct any discrepancies and interface with other departments;
- Participate in annual accounting closings and ensure compliance with legal obligations;
- Prepare the Company’s Financial Statements, such as: Balance Sheet, Income Statement (Statement of Profit or Loss), and Notes to the Financial Statements in compliance with applicable legislation.
