About the role

  • Senior Key Account Manager managing French accounts for a top stainless steel manufacturer. Engaging in technical consultancy and fostering key account relationships alongside sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing key accounts and actively develop business relationships — focus on France
  • Provide technical consulting on feasibility and implementation options for stainless steel components and assemblies
  • Prepare commercial and technical proposals in collaboration with engineering and production
  • Conduct price and contract negotiations according to guidelines
  • Regular customer visits (domestic and international)
  • Prepare reports and analyses, e.g., sales reports and post-calculation analyses
  • Plan, coordinate and execute sales and marketing activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
  • Several years of professional experience selling technically complex products, with a focus on metal processing
  • Strong technical understanding (experience with forming, machining and welding technologies)
  • Excellent communication skills and confident manner
  • High level of commitment and resilience
  • Good and reliable IT skills (MS Office and SAP)
  • Very good written and spoken language skills (C-level) — German, English, French
