About the role

  • Business Development Executive responsible for prospecting leads and account management within the certification industry. Engaging with clients and preparing documentation for tenders and quotations.

Responsibilities

  • New Sales Prospecting and acquiring new leads through cold calling.
  • Account Management, understanding profiles and mapping of organization.
  • Disciplined Monthly, Weekly plans to meet with customers and log activity in Salesforce.
  • Timely Follow-up on New Enquiries within 24 hours.
  • Understand market trends, needs and competitor activities and report on a timely manner.
  • Basic Presentation to prospects about BVC Services.
  • Possess knowledge about assigned product/market.
  • Preparation of Tenders, Quotation, Contract, Negotiation and closing under the guidance of BDM.
  • Proper Handover to Operations & Schedulers via effective communication and documentation.
  • Timely Salesforce update and clean pipeline.
  • Maintaining pipeline to sales target ratio of at least 2x.
  • Ability to create own dashboard, monitoring and reporting.
  • Building Consultants network to gain leads.
  • Existing Customers – Baseline Retention of existing customers and upselling to existing customers.
  • Resolution of Customer Complaints.
  • Co-ordination of regional / global contracts if assigned.
  • Building Consultants network to gain leads.
  • Process Quotation for Certification.
  • Perform contract review in consultation with the TM.
  • Any other job functions assigned from time to time.
  • Representing BV at Trade shows/Exhibitions and Conferences where invited.
  • Brand ambassador of BV at industrial/association/professional events.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Quality Management or related fields.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in related filed.
  • Experience working within an accredited certification body is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of management system standards is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
