Responsibilities
Independently identify and develop new business opportunities for Bundesdruckerei (e.g., in Digital Financial Services, CBDC, Payments, public-sector/state payment processing)
Independently analyze customer needs, market and technology trends in the areas mentioned above, as well as the regulatory environment
Develop solution concepts in close cooperation with our customers, partners, and Bundesdruckerei’s interdisciplinary teams
Initiate and support the implementation of high-visibility, socially relevant digitalization projects
Build and maintain an expert, consultant and partner network on payments, CBDC, DLT/Blockchain, e‑money, digital assets, and fraud/AML topics
Requirements
Degree in economics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial services (including experience in a consulting environment)
Deep subject-matter expertise in financial services/CBDC—preferably with a focus on digital currencies, payments, and AML/fraud
Existing network and experience in cooperation/partnership management within financial services
Strong analytical approach and enjoyment of conceptual, independent work
Experience leading (cross-functional) project teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a confident and persuasive customer-facing manner
Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
Business-fluent English
