About the role

  • Enterprise Business Development Manager responsible for owning the sales process with top grocery and non-grocery retailers. Focusing on prospecting, negotiating, and closing new business while collaborating with internal teams and industry leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales process of a portfolio of grocery and non-grocery retailers
  • Focus on prospecting, negotiating, and closing new business
  • Manage the full funnel pipeline across a portfolio of national and regional grocery and retail prospects
  • Develop and present tailored strategies & presentations for prospective partners
  • Negotiate and sign new retail partnerships
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to open new partnership opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure successful partner launches
  • Represent Shipt as a leader in the retail industry at conferences, trade shows, etc.

Requirements

  • 5 years of Enterprise and/or National Account sales experience
  • Experience with sales hunting, prospecting, and negotiating with Director, VP, and C-Level executives
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to lead and navigate through complex sales cycles
  • Ability to navigate a diverse portfolio of retailers
  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Willingness to travel ~40% of the time
