About the role

  • Senior Strategic Relationship Manager at Blackhawk Network developing sales strategies for online retail partners. Focused on revenue growth and relationship building within the payments industry.

Responsibilities

  • Work with digital distribution partners in developing and executing strategy, objectives and project plans to enable the partners to maximize growth and revenue opportunities
  • Present and close new programs into these accounts at Senior / C-Levels
  • Work cross-functionally within Blackhawk to cross-sell and launch new programs
  • Develop, present, close and execute revenue expansion opportunities on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and refine sales strategies to support the company’s evolving initiatives in alternative payments
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams (internally and externally) to execute sales strategies
  • Ensure that the company is maintaining a highly responsive customer approach that delivers extraordinary service and quality

Requirements

  • +8 years strategic sales experience preferably in payments industry but not required
  • Proven ability to sell-in complex initiatives using excellent solution and consultative sales skills
  • Ability to apply creative thinking to the sales process
  • Ability to understand and manage details of programs and explain key elements to partners and internal teams
  • Proven ability to think strategically, formulate action plans and sell them through to management
  • Proven ability to present to C-level executives
  • Ability to build trust with partners and close deals
  • Ability to learn and communicate complex and intangible product concepts that are still in development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects on tight deadlines with limited direction
  • High degree of initiative and keen sense of urgency
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in sales with 3-5 years proven success in Online retail/payments industry
  • Experience working for Fortune 1000 or marketing services company/agency targeting Fortune 1000 companies
  • Cross boarder payments experience preferred, but not required.
