About the role

  • Instructional Designer developing courses and learning assets for Clario’s clinical research solutions. Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • The Instructional Designer develops training material and learning assets, including courses, job aids, and troubleshooting resources.
  • This role involves all aspects of training development, including needs analysis, high level design, detail design, development, beta testing, finalization for production, and rollout, as well as performance monitoring and content management.
  • The role also interfaces with various stakeholders, including clients and project teams.
  • Assess learning needs, propose effective design solutions, and develop technical content/resources that meet expectations/requirements
  • Develop customer-facing training and learning assets related to product, project, and protocol-specific deliverables
  • Develop on-demand troubleshooting resources like ‘how to’ content, videos (and video scripts), infographics, microlearning, and similar quick-reference learning assets
  • Develop training course materials like eLearning, instructor-led training presentations, and text-based guides and manuals
  • Maintain working knowledge and the ability to develop learning assets in one or more therapeutic areas and product lines (Respiratory, Imaging, eCOA, Precision Motion, and Cardiac)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with subject matter experts in Content Development, Customer Care, Product Management, and project teams
  • Assist in developing effective and efficient team workflows, processes, and procedures
  • Assist in creating and managing the learning asset/content library
  • Work hybrid schedule aligned to European office hours: 4-5 days per week in-office, with partial-day on-site presence (at least 5 hours on average), and remaining time remote

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in learning and development, education, business, or relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate training role, applying proven instructional design methodologies to engage learners and drive results
  • Strong organization and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and manage timelines
  • Creative and problem-solving skills to invent new ways to accommodate the learning needs and to manage challenges that may occur during the training development process
  • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical aptitude including the ability to learn new software and tools quickly
  • Experience in Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline 360, PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, and related authoring and design tools
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Experience with content management systems, file management, and version control
