Working Student in HR Admin handling core administrative tasks and supporting the HR team. Must be enrolled as a student in a German university while working in Berlin.
Responsibilities
Streamline travel operations and expense management in coordination with Accounting
Manage employee contracts and confidential paperwork, ensuring all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed
Play a key role in onboarding and offboarding, ensuring precise documentation and system updates
Act as the link between the HR team, employees, and external partners (payroll, legal, etc.)
Manage leave administration, including complex entitlement calculations
Generate insights from HR data and analyze key metrics
Maintain compliance by conducting regular checks, e.g., on work permits and leave entitlements
Requirements
Previous experience in HR administration or People Operations
Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and familiarity with German labor law
Fluent in English
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail — typos and errors are unacceptable
Motivated to build a career in HR
Thrive when given ownership and autonomy
Ability to come into the office in Berlin‑Kreuzberg on short notice for urgent on-site tasks and required meetings
Must be currently enrolled as a student at a university in Germany
