About the role

  • Key Account Manager responsible for new customer acquisition in IAM solutions. Engaging with clients and leading sales cycles throughout the DACH market.

Responsibilities

  • New customer acquisition: Independently identify, approach and acquire new customers in the DACH market.
  • Lead management: Qualify leads from marketing and partner activities and proactively develop the market.
  • Consulting & presentations: Analyze customer requirements, create appropriate solution concepts and conduct product presentations (remote & on-site) together with our PreSales team.
  • Negotiation: Manage the entire sales cycle — from initial contact and proposal preparation to successful contract closing.
  • Team collaboration: Closely coordinate with PreSales, Marketing and Partner Management for efficient market coverage.
  • Market monitoring: Actively track market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in B2B sales of software solutions, ideally in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or IT security.
  • Proven success in acquiring new customers — hunter mentality with a strong sense of customer needs.
  • Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English.
  • Independent, structured working style with high self-motivation.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events.
