Molecular Sales Specialist in Chicago responsible for selling diagnostic products in clinical labs. Achieving sales targets and developing account relationships within the molecular diagnostics sector.
Responsibilities
Achieving annual sales budget and profit targets set for the territory/region.
Communicate Waters long term strategic direction to the customer and demonstrate the value proposition.
Becomes proficient in molecular applications and serves as a molecular technical and capital equipment authority.
Works closely with the Local Diagnostic Solutions POD structure to identify and close new accounts.
Develops and implements a regional and strategic account sales plan.
Calls on prospective customers, build demand, communicate medical benefits, deliver product information and demonstrations.
Develops and implements sales and marketing plans to ensure achievement of all sales objectives.
Works with key support staff and other technical support team members to develop and implement key account evaluation plans.
Generates leads and sales by participating in state, regional, and national meetings as advised by Sales Management.
Requirements
Bachelors degree required, preferably in Biology or Micro-Biology
2-3 years of sales experience in a diagnostics field is highly preferred
