About the role

  • Guide and mentor a scrum team in Agile/Scrum practices to foster high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate essential Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Remove obstacles and shield your team from external distractions, ensuring focus and productivity.
  • Empower team members to self-organize, innovate, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and achieve project goals.
  • Monitor progress, disseminate critical information, and report on key metrics to drive transparency and accountability.
  • Promote a culture of trust, safety, and open communication within the team.
  • Partner with other Scrum Masters to advance organizational process improvement and Agile maturity.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in software engineering or a related technical field, with a strong track record in Agile environments.
  • Deep technical expertise and subject matter knowledge of AT&T technologies and products.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams.
  • Thorough understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and tools.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Developer nanodegree or equivalent experience accepted).
  • Agile or Scrum certification (highly desirable but not required).
