About the role
- Scrum Master at TJX Canada facilitating Agile practices and driving accountability across teams for software delivery. Collaborating with leadership and leveraging tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team to clear obstacles, establishing an environment where the team can be effective.
- Address any team dynamics as well as supporting the team to control outside interruptions and distractions.
- Work closely with the Product Manager and scrum team in planning and coordinating the deployment into production for large epics/initiatives that span multiple product and shared services teams.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and business partners while leveraging Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence to guide delivery.
Requirements
- 2-5 years’ experience in an Agile environment and preferably as a Scrum Master with dedicated agile teams using scrum/SAFe.
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver solutions.
- Some hands-on experience participating in and leading Scrum/SAFe events, such as Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and Program Increment (PI) Planning.
- Tools experience in JIRA, Confluence, Mural & ServiceNow.
- Experience working closely with Product Owner to understand and align on backlog priorities.
