Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all store activities in collaboration with the Store Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction and achievement of sales targets
Ensure total customer satisfaction and maintain a strong on-floor presence in the store
With your team, handle customer check-in and payment operations
Ensure the store is well maintained: merchandising, promotional displays, restocking, organization, hygiene and cleanliness of shelves and windows
Lead, organize and motivate teams together with the Store Manager
Continuously train staff on Aroma-Zone’s concept, philosophy, products and sales techniques
Ensure all teams understand and adhere to procedures
In the Store Manager’s absence, manage the store, workshop, cash and stock teams
Oversee and follow up on operational organization from opening to closing
Ensure proper opening and closing of cash registers: verify POS system updates at opening
Ensure cash controls, proper bank deposits and reporting of information to accounting services
Requirements
Educated in business/commerce, you have ideally gained 3–5 years of experience in a busy retail store
Knowledge of cosmetic and/or organic products is an asset
Excellent written and spoken French and a good spoken level of English
Proficient with office software (MS Office) and POS systems (ideally Cegid)
Field-oriented, service- and sales-minded, able to manage high-traffic periods and stressful situations
Excellent customer relations skills; pedagogical and service-oriented
Team-player and recognized manager: autonomous, diplomatic and able to manage priorities
Versatile, dynamic, hands-on and business-oriented; driven by results and team coordination
