About the role

Responsibilities
- Management of our research and funding projects and identification of funding opportunities
- Proactively identify regional legal regulations as well as suitable funding programs at EU, federal and state levels and assess their relevance
- Manage the entire application process, draft compelling project descriptions for funding programs, and prepare required budget calculations
- Serve as an interface between executive management, project leads, clients and other external stakeholders
- Ensure compliant use of funds, complete documentation and smooth processes during project implementation
- Maintain active contact with authorities and project sponsors and confidently represent our interests externally
- Regular analysis of success metrics, such as funding decisions and qualification checks
Requirements
- Practical experience in funding management, including related audits
- Proven experience in funding administration and/or acquisition, specifically knowledge of AZAV, BAFA, INQA or ZIM and any applicable research allowances
- Independent, structured working style and a high level of personal responsibility
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to concisely summarize complex issues
- Business-fluent proficiency in German and English (C1/C2)
- Strong AI skills using common AI tools such as Gemini and ChatGPT, experience building agents, and a curiosity for new technologies
