About the role

  • Capital Science Manager leading scientific support for projects addressing water resource challenges in the East of England. Developing and implementing innovative solutions to influence major programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead scientific support for pan-alliance delivery.
  • Ensure Regulation 31 compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with business stakeholders and analytical services.
  • Develop and implement team strategies and professional development.
  • Manage budgets and collaborate across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Degree in scientific/environmental discipline; project management qualification.
  • Substantial experience in operational science and capital delivery.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop technical teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strategic, adaptable, and customer-focused.
