About the role

  • Customer Service Alarm Operator processing emergency alarm signals at Becklar in Rexburg, ID. Responsible for dispatching authorities, documenting responses, and ongoing training in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

  • Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally while managing stressful situations.
  • Dispatch the proper authorities to subscribers' locations in emergencies, verify that help is on the way, and notify responsible parties.
  • Assist our alarm company partners with alarm system tests to ensure subscribers' alarms are working properly.
  • Accurately document all responses for the alarm on the computer.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure the accurate handling of alarms and to foster your professional growth with our team.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
  • Must be willing to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
  • Must be able to work the shift you are assigned to for at least 6 months.
  • Must be able to pass a 2 week fully-paid training class.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
