About the role

  • Senior Service Account Manager responsible for selling services and products in the after-sales service at AEG Power Solutions. Engaging with clients and developing tailored solutions in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Sale of services and products in after-sales service
  • Technical consulting for our customers regarding their needs and the entire service and product portfolio of AEG PS
  • Independent development of suitable solution concepts
  • Aligning sales activities with strategic sales planning in Service and Product Sales
  • Communication with target customers based on data from the CRM
  • Review of customer orders from commercial and technical aspects
  • Complete and accurate description of the scope of supply when handing over to service order processing
  • Participation in customer development activities such as trade shows, presentations and information events
  • Maintenance of customer and project data as well as Installed Base data
  • Preparation of quotations with support from specialist departments within Service
  • Review of order documents and passing on information for order execution
  • Regular reporting of order intake and margin in order intake as well as forecast for both values
  • Analysis of competitor behavior, market trends and new sales opportunities to improve sales strategy
  • Development of existing customers in the sales territory and acquisition of new customers based on the Installed Base
  • Coordination with internal departments such as Inside Sales, Project and Order Management, FAE, Product Management, Sales Support, Product Sales, etc.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering/Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Strong commercial knowledge and sales experience in the relevant industry
  • Excellent market knowledge
  • Proven knowledge of commercial/contract law
  • Good knowledge in the field of power supply
  • Very good user-level PC skills
  • Fluent German language skills and advanced English skills
  • High level of commitment and communication skills
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Team player
  • Effective time management and self-organization
  • Willingness to travel
