About the role

  • Senior Service Account Manager at AEG Power Solutions facilitating technical consultation and solution development for After Sales Service. Engaging with customers to enhance service and product sales.

Responsibilities

  • Sale of services and products in After-Sales Service
  • Provide technical advice to customers regarding their needs and the full service and product portfolio of AEG Power Solutions
  • Independently develop appropriate solution concepts
  • Align sales activities with strategic sales planning for Service and Product Sales
  • Communicate with target customers based on CRM data
  • Review customer orders for commercial and technical aspects
  • Provide a complete and detailed description of the scope of delivery when handing over to Service Order Processing
  • Participate in customer development activities such as trade fairs, presentations and information events
  • Maintain customer and project data as well as Installed Base records
  • Prepare quotations with support from service specialist departments
  • Review order documentation and forward necessary information for order execution
  • Regularly report on order intake and margin in order intake, and provide forecasts for both metrics
  • Analyze competitor behavior, market trends and new sales opportunities to improve the sales strategy
  • Grow existing customers in the sales territory and develop new customers based on the Installed Base
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Inside Sales, Project and Order Management, FAE, Product Management, Sales Support, Product Sales, etc.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Engineer/Bachelor/Master)
  • Solid commercial knowledge and sales experience in the relevant industry
  • Excellent market knowledge
  • Proven knowledge of commercial and contract law
  • Good knowledge of power supply systems
  • Strong PC/user skills
  • Business-fluent German (negotiation-level) and advanced English
  • High level of commitment and strong communication skills
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Team player
  • Effective time management and self-organization
  • Willingness to travel
