About the role

  • Sales Representative responsible for driving product sales and developing customer relationships in the Chicago territory. The role requires collaboration with multiple territories and customer bases.

Responsibilities

  • Drive preference through sales of products
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships in the Chicago territory
  • Provide sales opportunities by calling on various buying influences
  • Meet sales goals and quotas set by sales management
  • Build and cultivate relationships with various buying influences
  • Provide support to develop pricing for the sales of products
  • Interact with other sales representatives to support sales
  • Provide post-sales support
  • Be a positive and respected representative of the company
  • Utilize basic Microsoft Office software and other technical programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
  • Basic understanding of lighting and lighting controls design and application
  • Understanding of the heavy Industrial and manufacturing / applications market
  • Overnight travel required
