Coordinate and support meetings with key stakeholders, including schools, employers, and community organizations, to strengthen local workforce strategies.
Help design and implement programs and solutions that increase educational attainment and workforce readiness for youth, adults, and underserved populations.
Collect and analyze KPI data to measure program success and prepare reports for state, federal, and local grants.
Draft and edit content for grant applications, newsletters, and marketing campaigns to share progress and success stories.
Assist in developing outreach efforts to engage diverse communities, from students to jobseekers to employers.
Collaborate with schools, businesses, and community partners to build pathways for success and advance the Oakland80 initiative.
Blend data analysis, creative problem-solving, and relationship-building as part of a mission-driven workforce development team.
Requirements
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in any field of study.
Have had at least three (3) years of full-time work experience with administration and/or operation of workforce development or education programs.
Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license.
Maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license (Special Requirements).
