About the role

  • Provide executive oversight of all operational functions, ensuring seamless coordination between clinical, administrative, and financial departments to support patient outcomes and organizational performance.
  • Develop and lead operational strategies to improve efficiency, enhance quality of service, and maintain compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Oversee a team of 25–30 employees, promoting a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence.
  • Coach and develop emerging leaders to strengthen internal talent pipelines as the organization grows.
  • Design and implement scalable systems and processes that enable efficient replication of the clinical model across multiple states.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify new market opportunities, evaluate potential expansion sites, and manage all operational elements of new facility launches, including licensing, staffing, and onboarding.
  • Build and monitor robust KPIs across financial, operational, and clinical dimensions—driving continuous improvement and informed, data-based decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting and resource allocation efforts, balancing fiscal responsibility with the pursuit of growth and clinical quality.
  • Ensure operational excellence through process optimization, risk management, and proactive compliance oversight.
  • Establish operational best practices, governance structures, and performance management systems that support disciplined growth.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to maintain alignment between business operations and the organization’s mission of delivering superior care outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, ideally in a clinical or multi-site environment.
  • Proven record of managing facility operations, driving efficiency, and leading organizational expansion or turnaround initiatives.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with demonstrated ability to manage budgets, interpret performance metrics, and guide resource deployment.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare compliance, accreditation, payer relations, and operational scaling within regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Experience in behavioral health or autism therapy is advantageous but not required—high-caliber healthcare operators from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to transition seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, capable of representing the organization with credibility to partners, payers, and potential investors.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Virginia, maintaining direct oversight of clinic operations while guiding multi-state initiatives.
