About the role
- Infrastructure Operations Manager leading Systems Administration and Network Support teams. Managing operations and collaborating globally with infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage 2 Systems Administrators and 1 Network Engineer in Hyderabad.
- Provide coaching, performance evaluations, career development, and active mentoring through regular technical guidance, feedback, and hands-on support to grow individual and team capability.
- Coordinate team workload, priorities, and support coverage.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the on-site leadership counterpart to the Niles-based Infrastructure Operations team.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including escalation, coordination, and accountability for service delivery.
- Own availability, reliability, and operational health of assigned infrastructure services, including incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Serve as a senior technical escalation point for systems and infrastructure issues.
- Administer, maintain, and enhance Windows Server, Linux systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SQL Server, backup and recovery platforms, and Disaster Recovery planning/testing.
- Support hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
Requirements
- 7+ years in systems/infrastructure engineering roles.
- 2+ years of leadership or people-management experience.
- Strong hands-on experience across Windows Server, Linux, AD, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, VMware, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience supporting global production environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
