About the role
- Vice President of Operations leading operational excellence at Regal Rexnord's automation & motion control segment. Driving continuous improvement and P&L leadership across multiple manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Segment operations strategy & team to deliver on Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Set and achieve short and long-term SQDCG and financial objectives by implementing a strategic vision that is broken into actionable strategies and tactics.
- Ensures accountability and enables the predictability of the outcomes of our operations.
- Determine root cause of delivery, quality or other issues quickly and effectively put countermeasures in place to support.
- Lead and drive the Regal Rexnord Business System which includes 80/20 and Continuous Improvement for the Segment.
- Drive a CI mindset, with clear future factory visions, to significantly improve productivity and efficiency across all plants and drive employee engagement.
- Model and communication a clear vision & expectation of strong plant floor visual and daily management, GEMBA culture, problem solving methodologies and lean flow.
- Develop controls and critically reviews results of operation in reference to planned objectives.
- Ability to work as a member of the leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business.
- Partners with Segment President and leadership team on the overall strategy of the business, supports the establishment of an X-matrix, and drives policy deployment initiatives, aligned to operations with urgency and a high say/do.
- Responsible for synthesizing action plans, timelines and budgets for project and product goals and adjusting these plans accordingly to effectively respond to changing demands of the business.
- Develop a high-performance team by engaging, coaching and developing team members, and by driving accountability and ownership at all levels.
- Build a team where all site leaders are top talent, with a strong say/do and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Serve as an advocate for our top talent, building strong succession plans to enable increased velocity, be a champion of promoting diversity and inclusion in and across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited University
- 15+ years manufacturing operations experience; including plant management with experience from a best-in-class manufacturer including multi-site and international exposure
- 10+ years leadership experience positions within Continuous Improvement and/or Operations
- Experience in plant turnarounds and footprint consolidations
- Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Flow, Standard Work, Visual Management, & Problem Solving
- Strong operational and financial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to lead multiple locations
- Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem areas & potential solutions

- Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time domestically and internationally as required
