About the role

  • Geospatial Operations Manager overseeing a service team in Rostock. Managing projects and ensuring high-quality measurement services while fostering team development.

Responsibilities

  • Technical and disciplinary management and continuous development of the regional 6-person service team
  • Responsibility for the organization, coordination and quality assurance of measurement-technology services in the region
  • Ensuring efficiency and on-time delivery of all ongoing projects
  • Ensuring a performance-oriented, appreciative team culture with a strong customer focus
  • First point of contact for our measurement technicians and customers in day-to-day operations and support with complex issues
  • Taking on own projects in leak detection
  • Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Balancing daily operations and project management: ensuring stable day-to-day operations while implementing projects for the sustainable and structural development of the service area
  • Close collaboration with adjacent departments and the central organization
  • Support in preparing quotations and during contract negotiations

Requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training or degree, ideally in plumbing/heating/HVAC (SHK), utility supply or measurement technology
  • Several years of professional experience in a leadership role, preferably in a technical environment, and enthusiasm for developing employees
  • Strong customer and service orientation as well as a confident and reliable manner
  • Strong communication skills, conflict-resolution ability and assertiveness
  • Organizational talent, ability to prioritize and a responsible working style
  • Basic knowledge of quotation preparation and project execution
  • Proficient in using digital tools (e.g., planning, time tracking, documentation)
  • Willingness to travel within the region
  • Hands-on mentality
