About the role

  • Daily guidance, inspiration and support for the sales team
  • Set individual and team sales targets, track progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies to achieve company objectives
  • Provide continuous professional development for team members; organize sales training (including external methodology coaches where applicable)
  • Monitor sales performance, identify trends and support data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate with marketing, product and other teams to align strategies and achieve common goals
  • Recruit and onboard new sales representatives
  • Build and manage your own high-profile accounts
  • Negotiate and close contracts (supporting the team)
  • Support preparation for trade shows and webinars

Requirements

  • Confident presence and enjoyment of relationship-building/networking
  • Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and cloud computing
  • Alternatively or additionally: background in the energy sector
  • Professional experience with direct customer contact, preferably advising utilities, municipal utilities and energy service providers
  • Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.) as well as MS Word & Excel
  • Degree in Business Administration (BWL) or Engineering
  • International work experience is a strong plus
