Responsibilities
Daily guidance, inspiration and support for the sales team
Set individual and team sales targets, track progress and provide constructive feedback
Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies to achieve company objectives
Provide continuous professional development for team members; organize sales training (including external methodology coaches where applicable)
Monitor sales performance, identify trends and support data-driven decision-making
Collaborate with marketing, product and other teams to align strategies and achieve common goals
Recruit and onboard new sales representatives
Build and manage your own high-profile accounts
Negotiate and close contracts (supporting the team)
Support preparation for trade shows and webinars
Requirements
Confident presence and enjoyment of relationship-building/networking
Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and cloud computing
Alternatively or additionally: background in the energy sector
Professional experience with direct customer contact, preferably advising utilities, municipal utilities and energy service providers
Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.) as well as MS Word & Excel
Degree in Business Administration (BWL) or Engineering
International work experience is a strong plus
