About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Consultant recruiting for mid-career and management roles in actuarial, Quantitative, and Risk. Partnering with business leaders to shape hiring strategies and deliver best-in-class candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic recruiting advisor to the leaders in actuary, quantitative and risk, among other business units, delivering consultative guidance on hiring needs, market trends, and sourcing strategies
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle: intake, job posting optimization, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for recurring and high-volume roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure job descriptions reflect current market language and expectations
  • Facilitate client engagement meetings to align on recruitment strategy, timelines, and candidate profiles
  • Represent MassMutual at recruiting events and career fairs as needed
  • Collaborate with Compensation and HR partners to ensure alignment on job leveling, salary ranges, and offer strategy
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share best practices across the TA team

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition
  • 6+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
  • 6+ years of experience sourcing passive candidates to deliver niche skill sets and a diverse talent pool
  • 3+ years of experience in actuarial recruiting
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred) and CRM tools
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with employment law and compliance in a regulated environment
