About the role

  • Talent Advisor responsible for high-volume recruitment across Client & Campaign teams at SMG. Driving growth with insight, pace, and purpose in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-volume roles across Client and Campaign Management, ensuring consistent delivery against business needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand team structures, role requirements, and what drives success in SMG’s client and campaign functions.
  • Build a strong understanding of what defines a great Account Manager or Campaign Manager at SMG, both technically and culturally.
  • Proactively source and engage candidates across multiple channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, and industry communities.
  • Develop and maintain talent pools to meet ongoing and future hiring needs, particularly in the northern regions.
  • Use recruitment metrics to track pipeline health, role progress, and hiring performance, ensuring insights are shared with hiring managers regularly.
  • Deliver a consistently excellent candidate experience, ensuring all communication reflects SMG’s culture, values, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to streamline high-volume recruitment processes and implement data-led improvements.
  • Partner with People Experience to ensure smooth onboarding and alignment with SMG’s values and ways of working.
  • Support Employer Brand initiatives that position SMG as an employer of choice for client and campaign talent in the North.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment across client-facing or campaign delivery roles, ideally within a media, marketing, or agency environment.
  • An understanding of what makes an effective Client Manager, Account Manager, or Campaign Manager, able to assess both technical skill and cultural fit.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge, and advise hiring managers at all levels.
  • Experience using recruitment data to inform decision-making, track progress, and present insights clearly.
  • Skilled in candidate sourcing through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and talent mapping for repeat or niche roles.
  • Passionate about delivering an outstanding candidate experience at scale.
  • Deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all hiring activity.
  • Proficiency with ATS and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and process consistency.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and motivated by achieving measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
