About the role

  • Define and drive strategy, planning, and execution oversight for a portfolio of internal technology products on the ServiceNow platform
  • Own the vision and value proposition for a portfolio of business enablement products and define multi-year roadmaps
  • Act as a domain expert across multiple product areas or business domains and develop product positioning and messaging
  • Create and maintain 12–24 month product roadmaps delivering measurable business value
  • Lead development of product requirement documents (PRDs) and prioritize features based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through development, launch, and sustainment
  • Collaborate with agile delivery teams and Product Owners to ensure successful planning and execution
  • Build trusted relationships with business partners and segment leaders; serve as primary point of contact for product direction and prioritization
  • Identify opportunities for external partnerships, licensing, or integrations
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex business inquiries and cross-team dependencies
  • Maintain deep understanding of the competitive landscape and deliver executive-level presentations
  • Lead or support product pilots and beta programs to validate market fit
  • Partner with business stakeholders and finance to develop 5-year plans and annual operating budgets
  • Manage product budgets, resource forecasts, licensing consumption, and cost models/charge-back frameworks
  • Mentor product managers, product owners, and analysts and share best practices and frameworks across teams
  • Lead cross-functional product initiatives and special projects requiring complex coordination and strategic influence

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex products within a large, multi-national corporation
  • 5+ years of implementing out-of-box capabilities or building custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Demonstrated ability to define multi-year product strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals
  • Experience acting as a strategic thought partner to business stakeholders and translating vision into executable plans
  • Strong understanding of product positioning, value proposition design, and internal product marketing practices
  • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and products, including custom application development and integrations
  • Experience implementing and scaling ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, SecOps)
  • Hands-on experience overseeing the full product lifecycle, from ideation through sustainment
  • Proven ability to prioritize features based on value, feasibility, and dependencies
  • Strong working knowledge of agile product delivery, including backlog management, sprint planning, and value delivery tracking
  • Experience partnering with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams
  • Demonstrated experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and agile backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, ADO)
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and working knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and system performance tracking
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with experience representing product teams to executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead business discovery efforts and co-create solutions with partners
  • Strong analytical skills with experience conducting product, competitor, or industry landscape assessments
  • Experience running product pilots or beta programs and adapting roadmaps based on insights
  • Experience managing product budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation and developing cost models and charge-back frameworks
  • Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors and understanding contract terms and licensing agreements
  • Track record of mentoring product managers, product owners, or analysts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study (Master’s preferred)
  • Nice to have: ITIL Foundation or advanced ITIL certifications; certifications in agile methodologies (PMI-ACP, CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, ICP-ACC, etc.); ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, CTA)
