About the role
- Develop and maintain complex Big Data solutions and data pipelines for streaming and batch processing
- Process and stream data from various sources into big data platforms to enable analyses and reporting of large-scale transactional data
- Work with Hadoop for storage and processing and Apache tools such as Airflow for workflow management
- Implement and support solutions using Kafka, Spark, Hive and Google Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery and BigTable
- Support container-based microservices running on Kubernetes/OpenShift and work with Scala, Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate within a team of Developers and Data Engineers and the Accounts & Payments domain; participate in decision-making and guide less experienced colleagues
Requirements
- Experienced Solution Developer; experience developing Spark or Spring Boot applications and solutions from scratch
- Proficient programming skills in Java and Scala
- Some experience with Cloud Solutions and infrastructure as code
- Experience with Hadoop, Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, Spark and Hive
- Experience with Google Cloud components (Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Bigtable) is preferable
- Experience with container-based microservices, Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Interest in expanding knowledge and new ways of working
- Ability and willingness to share knowledge and coach colleagues
- Experience working agile; SAFe experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with systematic and innovative approach
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Fluent English in verbal and written communication
- Candidate must meet the requirements of Article 34.5 of the Credit Institution Law
