About the role

  • Own the publishing of reels per day across sports pages, sourcing from team submissions and personal finds
  • Post static graphics and carousels ensuring creative is sharp, accurate, and on-brand
  • Update and maintain content trackers and performance sheets to keep output organised and accountable
  • Lead on covering live football matches, key transfers, and major sporting events
  • Spot and surface trending moments during games, from viral fan clips to standout player highlights
  • Oversee rollout of a new repeatable video format on WarmUp in the lead up to World Cup 2026
  • Work closely with Head Of Social and Social Operations Lead to futureproof video formats for tentpole events
  • Collaborate across the Pubity Network on crossover opportunities, PR asks and press releases
  • Work with the commercial team to ensure content is published on time and optimised for performance

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working on social media content
  • Strong instincts for what performs on Instagram and TikTok
  • Organised and responsive who is able to juggle multiple live stories under pressure
  • Highly competent with Adobe tools
  • A passion for sports particularly football (soccer), NBA and NFL
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a 24/7 environment
  • Bonus: Familiarity with workflow platforms (e.g. Monday.com)
  • Bonus: Interest in AI tools that support sports content creation or packaging
