IT Support Specialist managing customer inquiries and IT service requests for Axians. Collaborating with IT teams to resolve issues and support users with IT systems and applications.
Responsibilities
Receive and handle incidents, service requests and tickets via phone, email and the ticketing system
Perform initial analysis and classification of IT issues and document them in the ticketing system
Resolve standard requests and escalate more complex issues to 2nd- or 3rd-level support
Install, configure and maintain hardware and software components (e.g., PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices)
Support users in working with IT systems and applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems)
Maintain the knowledge base and create user documentation
Participate in IT projects and rollouts
Requirements
Completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or equivalent qualification
At least initial experience in IT support or helpdesk
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and common IT services
Basic knowledge of network technologies as well as ticketing and monitoring systems
Microsoft 365 knowledge desirable
Strong service and customer orientation, excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Structured and solution-oriented way of working
Good German and English skills
