About the role
- IT Manager overseeing the IT operations and team leadership at a hospital in Hamburg. Responsible for operational stability, budget planning, and strategic IT implementation.
Responsibilities
- You will take disciplinary leadership of an IT team of about 10 people
- You will ensure IT operational stability and be responsible for infrastructure, data center operations, and the coordination of external service providers in the KIS/HIS environment
- You are responsible for budget planning, investment planning (3–5 years), cost-effectiveness analyses and contract management
- You will work closely with the Medico business unit, central IT leadership and BU team leaders
- You will consistently implement IT architecture guidelines, security strategies (ISMS, KRITIS, ISO 27001) and standardization measures
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Medical Informatics or a comparable qualification
- Solid, practice-oriented professional background with leadership experience
- Several years of experience leading IT teams, ideally in the healthcare sector
- Experience operating complex IT infrastructures, in data center environments and within hospital IT systems (KIS/HIS, HL7, FHIR, DICOM)
- Experience with budget responsibility, investment planning and cost optimization
- Confident handling of governance structures and diverse stakeholder interests
- Ability to balance operational stability, BU standards and local requirements
