Lead and manage a small field sales team (team of two) for Marshalls Aggregates & Block Stone
Develop and execute sales strategy to exceed targets and drive market expansion across Yorkshire and Lancashire
Personally conduct field sales activity and customer visits across assigned postcodes (DE, DN, HD, LN, NG, S, WF)
Responsible for financial performance of the Region against agreed targets
Develop long-term trading relationships with key customers and conduct regular business reviews
Identify and manage opportunities, secure specifications and sales for Aggregate products from Stainton/Maltby Quarry via in-person and virtual contact
Promote Marshalls products and services to support national sales targets in line with the business plan
Split working week between Stainton/Maltby Quarry site, field, home office and Head Office in Elland as required
Requirements
Aggregate Sales experience preferred
Strong sales experience in an external/field sales environment within the construction industry
Previous experience managing and developing a small sales team
Passionate about providing excellent customer service
Good understanding of the construction industry
Self-motivated and performance-oriented
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build long-term relationships
Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop value-added presentations
UK driving licence required
Must live on-patch: DE, DN, HD, LN, NG, S, WF
