Responsibilities
Enable ICEYE to win mission & data opportunities by defining and leading tailored technical solutions.
Directly support strategic sales engagements.
Provide technical leadership in proposals and customer interactions.
Enhance ability to scale through engineering excellence.
Help craft compelling technical narratives that enable ICEYE to win data & mission contracts.
Craft high-quality responses to institutional and government tenders across Europe.
Work closely with ICEYE’s Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the tender lifecycle.
Contribute to the entire lifecycle of the sales process, from engaging with prospect customers to driving an effective bidding process.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Masters in Engineering, Aerospace, Physics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in sales engineering, bid management, or pre-sales (ideally in NewSpace/defense).
Direct experience delivering proposals into ESA, European Commission, or other institutional procurement programs.
Strong understanding of SAR, space systems, EO missions, and mission design.
Familiarity with ESA/EU tendering processes and ECSS standards.
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, customer-aligned value propositions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong problem-solving mindset, customer focus, and attention to detail.
Proactive, accountable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Collaborative team player, able to build trust across internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to travel 20–30%.
