About the role

  • Create and deliver effective marketing campaigns for a full complement of events supported by the Marketing Assistant team
  • Manage data research process with key stakeholders to target the right audience
  • Perform detailed campaign analysis to identify key levers
  • Execute effective email marketing, copywriting, data segmentation and use
  • Leverage affiliate marketing through speakers, sponsors, media partners and associations
  • Implement a social media strategy and management
  • Autonomy over marketing budget allocation at event level, with manager’s support
  • Attend weekly project team meetings
  • Delegate core tasks to the Marketing Assistant team

Requirements

  • 1+ years' marketing experience
  • Experience in marketing conferences or exhibitions
  • Ability to fulfil marketing plans autonomously, with guidance from your manager
  • Effective time management and prioritisation of short and long-term projects
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to apply copywriting principles to external marketing communications
  • Ability to conduct basic data analysis to inform the direction of the marketing campaign
  • Ability to provide manager and project teams with detailed feedback
  • Excitement about driving commercial results through marketing
  • Understand the mission and values of the department and organisation
  • Experience of the following desired (but not required): Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads
