About the role

  • Lead the strategic vision of the Internal Audit function
  • Contribute to the development of the Internal Audit Strategy
  • Provide people management and oversight to teams delivering assurance services
  • Ensure audit plans are delivered to high quality and within budget
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to provide expert advice and insights
  • Support the Director of Internal Audit and Assurance in capability building

Requirements

  • Chartered member of the Institute of Internal Auditors UK & Ireland or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy
  • Proven track record in successfully leading and managing internal audit teams
  • Skilled in identifying and managing risk across complex client portfolios
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels
  • Experience working with senior leaders and Audit Committees
