About the role

  • Serve as the strategic partner with assigned business units developing strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Advise and assist management and employees to respond to employee issues and concerns.
  • Evaluate and research professional trends and issues in specialty area relevant to DUHS HR.
  • Analyze key departmental metrics including turnover, recruitment, and employee engagement.
  • Develop strategies that support goals of assigned departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Management, Business or Health Care Administration or Human Resources; or equivalent training or experience.
  • Five (5) years of strategic partnership experience in Human Resources or a combination of education and experience sufficient to meet to the relevant experience and competencies.
  • Experience and working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity and inclusion strategies, performance management, organizational development, talent acquisition and applicable employment laws.
  • Experience comprehending, interpreting, and appropriately applying the sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances and policies Senior level across most HR functions/processes.
