Responsibilities
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with Inside Sales responsibilities, you support our consulting team in developing new business opportunities and ensure a smooth process throughout the prospecting, proposal and client support phases.
You serve as the first point of contact for potential clients and as a reliable interface between Sales, Marketing and Consulting.
Identification & Research: You systematically analyze the market and identify companies that match our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Outreach & Initial Contact: You develop creative contact strategies, engage identified decision-makers directly and position carmasec as a pragmatic partner for effective cybersecurity.
Lead Qualification: You evaluate leads using clear criteria, document all findings and prepare handovers so the consulting team can develop concrete deals.
Discovery Call: If a company fits our ICP and shows interest, you conduct the discovery call.
Appointment Scheduling & Proposal Preparation: You coordinate initial meetings with our presales consultants and assist in creating pitch materials and proposals.
Pipeline Building & Follow-up: You actively maintain your pipeline, implement structured follow-ups and ensure our sales team can always work with qualified leads.
Sales Technology & CRM: Tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and AI-powered personalization help you work efficiently.
Requirements
You have at least 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in security consulting or other complex, solution-based services.
Confident handling of outbound calls and enjoyment of cold calling.
High degree of ownership, a structured working style and reliable self-organization in a remote setting.
Genuine interest in understanding our services and conveying them convincingly, including to technically proficient contacts.
Proficient in using digital sales tools such as HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Fluent in German and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
