Inside Sales Specialist managing customer relationships and driving sales efforts for Avnet Abacus in Germany. Collaborating with Account Managers and Product Marketing to strategize sales.
Responsibilities
Preparation, development and follow-up of quotes in close cooperation with Account Managers and Product Marketing
Price determination and quoting
Maintaining relevant contacts with manufacturers and Avnet Abacus purchasing and marketing
Recording, tracking and follow-up of orders, including checking customer creditworthiness
Proactive backlog management (monitoring orders, delivery dates and price changes)
Implementation of logistics and framework agreements
Handling customer complaints
Monitoring returns and credit notes
Maintenance of customer master data
Channeling technical and other customer inquiries and coordinating the deployment of all available resources as required (FAEs, service functions)
Maintaining and expanding customer contacts
Proactive selling, primarily by phone
Revenue and profit responsibility for assigned customers
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training or technical training with additional commercial/business training
Experience in inside sales desirable
Empathetic, persuasive sales personality with a strong enjoyment of personal customer contact
Team player, organized, committed, creative and proactive with high resilience
German and English language skills, spoken and written
Knowledge of negotiation techniques desirable
Experience with common PC applications (MS Office, SAP, web-based applications) is an advantage
Very good Excel skills and enthusiasm for regularly using and improving those skills
Enjoyment of analytical and solution-oriented thinking and working
