About the role

  • Drive new business development and grow existing accounts within the payments industry.
  • Identify and approach potential clients, build strong relationships, and close deals with businesses looking for payment solutions.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Work with clients to negotiate pricing and contracts, ensuring both company and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of B2B sales experience in the payments or fintech industries.
  • Proven Track Record: demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of payment solutions, including online payments, payment gateways, merchant services, and POS systems.
  • Must be based in London.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
  • Passion for understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • The ability to negotiate complex deals and effectively handle objections.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
