Sales Engineer focusing on flotation and magnetic separation technologies for Mining market. Create and service sales pipeline while managing client relationships across British Columbia.
Responsibilities
Create and service a sales pipeline of opportunities and convert them into sales for the company’s Mining market.
Focus on Eriez’s flotation and magnetic separation technologies.
Direct selling to end-users, OEM’s and EPC’s, managing and retaining relationships with existing clients.
Support representative agents across the British Columbia area.
Plan and prioritize to grow business within Canada, BC coverage areas.
Lead development of commercial proposals including estimating budgets, presenting proposals to clients, contract negotiation, and follow-ups on project status.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions in Canada coverage areas.
Requirements
+5 years of relevant experience in Mining or Mineral Processing comprising one or more of the following:
Equipment sales, including developing solutions and implementing them in the field
Field services and training to mining industry clients
Familiarity with flotation technology and magnetics separation technology
A degree in related field such as Metallurgical or Mineral Processing Engineering
Strong sales and business acumen to develop and maintain long-term client relationships
Understanding of commercial terms and conditions for sale of equipment and services
Well-established network in the mining/metallurgical sector
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in giving presentations
Self-motivated, with a capacity to work independently and collaboratively
Fully competent in MS Office products
Experience with a CRM system a plus
Fluency in written and spoken English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
