About the role

  • Create and service a sales pipeline of opportunities and convert them into sales for the company’s Mining market.
  • Focus on Eriez’s flotation and magnetic separation technologies.
  • Direct selling to end-users, OEM’s and EPC’s, managing and retaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Support representative agents across the British Columbia area.
  • Plan and prioritize to grow business within Canada, BC coverage areas.
  • Lead development of commercial proposals including estimating budgets, presenting proposals to clients, contract negotiation, and follow-ups on project status.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions in Canada coverage areas.

Requirements

  • +5 years of relevant experience in Mining or Mineral Processing comprising one or more of the following:
  • Equipment sales, including developing solutions and implementing them in the field
  • Field services and training to mining industry clients
  • Familiarity with flotation technology and magnetics separation technology
  • A degree in related field such as Metallurgical or Mineral Processing Engineering
  • Strong sales and business acumen to develop and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Understanding of commercial terms and conditions for sale of equipment and services
  • Well-established network in the mining/metallurgical sector
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in giving presentations
  • Self-motivated, with a capacity to work independently and collaboratively
  • Fully competent in MS Office products
  • Experience with a CRM system a plus
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
