Sales Development Representative responsible for prospecting leads and driving outbound sales for Beam’s AI solutions. Collaborating with Account Executives to ensure smooth transitions and effective outreach.
About the role
- Plan the outreach - segmentation, setting up sequences, messaging, etc.
- Create personalized communication for specific prospects for better impact.
- Generate target lists and move prospects through the pipeline and convert them into product demos.
- Use email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to generate interest among prospects.
- Qualify interested prospects on a well-defined criterion to convert them into SQLs.
- Be persistent and proactive in communication with prospects, providing information to move them quickly in the pipeline.
- Use marketing content, case studies and other collaterals effectively.
- Provide inputs for marketing content creation based on prospect insights.
- Set expectations with the founding team weekly and provide semi-weekly status reports.
- Maintain the CRM and update reports for daily and weekly meetings with other sales members.
- Interface and work with Indian and global clients who are innovating and building modern technologies.
Requirements
- 0-1 years of experience as an SDR in the B2B technology space, preferably in a start-up.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented.
- Data-driven mindset, able to make decisions without requiring too much guidance.
- Experience selling products with annual contracts worth USD 10K+ (preferred).
- Passion, enthusiasm, humor, and the ability to convey this through phone and email.
- Ability to figure out how to use software without extensive training.
- Capable of resolving problems via Google searches and filing tickets with software providers.
- Experience using CRMs for email marketing and maintaining internal CRMs for reporting.
- Work location: in-office in Chennai (must be able to work from Chennai office).
