About the role
- Play a key role in designing high-quality, feasible, and compelling supply chain solutions for temperature-controlled logistics customers.
- Analyze customer requirements, map supply chain flows, and build tailored solutions that deliver clear value for both the customer and Maersk.
- Provide strong solution design, costing, and pre-sales support.
- Capture and analyze core data and assumptions required for solution design.
- Collaborate with Implementation teams to define implementation strategy, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Develop robust costing models and pricing recommendations, ensuring both customer value and Maersk profitability.
- Apply Maersk's global solution engineering standards, tools, and methodologies.
- Share best practices and lessons learned to strengthen the Cold Chain Solutions Engineering community.
Requirements
- Experience in Cold Chain Logistics, preferably in solution design, operations, or implementation.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into structured solutions.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics networks, including warehousing, transportation, and temperature-controlled flows.
- Understanding of commercial solution sales processes and consultative selling techniques.
- Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and drive to continuously learn and improve.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in pharma, healthcare, or perishable commodity supply chains is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital tools, IT integration, and process design methods.
- Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement certification is advantageous.
