Responsibilities
Serve as the senior technical leader of the Architect Solution and Partnership (ASaP) Team.
Define resilient, scalable, and secure IT blueprints aligned with institutional and healthcare requirements.
Partner with IT domain experts to ensure all designs meet business, clinical, and operational needs.
Ensure designs support modernization, automation, and disaster recovery goals.
Lead the ASaP team, setting priorities, coaching members, and reporting outcomes aligned with institutional goals.
Drive enterprise architecture standards by chairing design reviews.
Translate business and clinical needs into clear architecture blueprints.
Provide technical governance and mentorship across infrastructure and operations.
Collaborate with IT leadership on modernization initiatives and technology roadmaps.
Requirements
Six (6) years of information technology and software/technical architecture experience is required.
Ten (10+) years in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or solution architecture, including 3–5 years in a leadership or architecture oversight role.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field is required.
Proven ability to design and deliver hybrid (on-prem, cloud, SaaS) environments with built-in resiliency and automation.
Strong understanding of disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability design.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating across IT domains, ideally in healthcare, research, or higher education.
Excellent ability to translate technical architecture into clear business context for non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with AI/ML-driven automation, observability, or analytics tools is preferred.
Understanding of cloud-native AI services (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is preferred.
Certifications such as ITIL, TOGAF, or equivalent are a plus.
