About the role
- Manage and develop Sandvik's global real estate portfolio
- Support and lead pre-studies and occasionally implementation of greenfield and brownfield projects ensuring alignment with technical, contractual, and organizational standards
- Define property requirements, shape designs and build business cases
- Help shape acquisition and disposition strategies, analyze scenarios and collaborate with stakeholders
- Monitor and maintain global real estate portfolio including lease renewals and terminations
- Support the business in acquisition and divestment processes as well as lease management
- Maintain and update the real estate database and ensure investment approvals are in place
- Contribute to cost reduction targets and long-term capacity planning
- Work closely with the Head of Global Real Estate and travel extensively
Requirements
- Extensive experience in project management, preferably within large international organizations
- Solid knowledge of real estate development, investment processes and portfolio management
- Skilled in budgeting, reporting and international construction law
- University degree, preferably technical, business administration or related field
- Proficiency in English
- Structured, curious, confident, initiative-taking and able to lead cross-cultural teams
- Willingness to travel extensively
