About the role

  • Manage and develop Sandvik's global real estate portfolio
  • Support and lead pre-studies and occasionally implementation of greenfield and brownfield projects ensuring alignment with technical, contractual, and organizational standards
  • Define property requirements, shape designs and build business cases
  • Help shape acquisition and disposition strategies, analyze scenarios and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Monitor and maintain global real estate portfolio including lease renewals and terminations
  • Support the business in acquisition and divestment processes as well as lease management
  • Maintain and update the real estate database and ensure investment approvals are in place
  • Contribute to cost reduction targets and long-term capacity planning
  • Work closely with the Head of Global Real Estate and travel extensively

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in project management, preferably within large international organizations
  • Solid knowledge of real estate development, investment processes and portfolio management
  • Skilled in budgeting, reporting and international construction law
  • University degree, preferably technical, business administration or related field
  • Proficiency in English
  • Structured, curious, confident, initiative-taking and able to lead cross-cultural teams
  • Willingness to travel extensively
