About the role
- Provide operational and clinical leadership to the Monash Health Diabetes Nurse Education team.
- Lead and manage the Diabetes Clinical Nurse Consultant team at various Monash Health facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive safe, efficient and high-quality patient care.
- Champion quality, safety and continuous improvement in Diabetes Education service delivery.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, education, and development to build a resilient and engaged team.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Certificate of Diabetes Education (ADEA accredited)
- Credentialled Diabetes Educator with a minimum of 3 years’ experience post credentialing
- Extensive Diabetes Education nursing experience with proven leadership or management capability.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A demonstrated ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and build engaged teams.
